We Believe We Follow We Hope We Endure
Youth Conference 2011
We are so grateful that our members' lives have been spared. Sister Clark, our Stake Young Women's Secretary, lost her home of 26 years. She said in an email, "People matter more than things!"
Many miracles have been witnessed. But, we have all heard heartbreaking stories as well. We wish that everyone could have a happy ending. Our prayers and tears and sweat as we work along with them will get us all through this trying time. Thanks to all of you who are and will reach out and help!
Youth Conference is still on! We will follow the same schedule, just changing the location to meet on Weds. evening and to pick up on Sat. night at the Carthage Building. We will meet at the Carthage Ward Building June 8th at 8pm for check in and a dance. At Nauvoo we'll see the Temple and a show, visit historic sites and Carthage Jail, where Joseph Smith was martyred.
Registration forms are past due. The Hotel rooms are full, we have youth sleeping on the floor. If you need to add someone, please contact Leslie Tucker or Steve Burgin first.
Rain is forecasted for Nauvoo. Pack a rain jacket or poncho. A swimsuit is listed on the packing list. There is a pool at the Nauvoo Family Inn & Suites, but we may not have time to use it.
Here are the updated forms and packing list.

2011 Mutual Theme
We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul- We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
(Articles of Faith 1:13)
